Communication which is recognised under the
Australian Qualifications Framework.
Assessment Criteria
Assessment methods include multiple choice quiz,
short answer, written/knowledge tests, case study,
and practical tasks.

Course Structure, Duration & Delivery
This qualification is offered as online structured
delivery designed to be completed in 12 months,
and assessment delivery supported by online
learning resources, tasks, and activities. Where
required, platforms such as Zoom will be used to
provide additional tutorial support. Assessments
will be done via online submission.
Our trainers are selected for their industry
experience, practical skills and knowledge, as well
as passion for life, people and learning. Trainers
employ innovative online training techniques that
enable students to apply the knowledge they gain
directly to their workplace.
Students MUST provide:
My Skills courses may be conducted via the Internet.
You need access to a suitable computer or tablet
device with a connection to the internet and an email
address. You need to have access to a webcam
and/or video recording device such as a mobile
phone. Most home computers are suitable.
Entry Requirements **
Participants must:
Be 18 years or older
Australian or New Zealand Citizen
Permanent Resident
Have completed BSB40820 Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication; or
Have completed the following units (or equivalent competencies): BSBCMM411 Make presentations; BSBCRT412 Articulate, present and debate ideas; BSBMKG433 Undertake marketing activities; BSBMKG435 Analyse consumer behaviour; BSBMKG439 Develop and apply knowledge of communications industry; and BSBWRT411 Write complex documents; or
Have two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience.

Student Responsibilities
As a student with P&J Wade Pty Ltd, you are responsible
for your own actions, this includes:
Complying with the policies and procedures within the
Student Handbook
Participating in all training activities by asking
questions and interacting with other students
Communicating with the Trainer any struggles that
you may be having, especially if it will affect your training
and assessment.
Thinking of the classroom as your workplace, are you a
good work colleague?
Dressing appropriately for the classroom, as if you
would dress for your workplace
Using your brain and challenge yourself in the
classroom, you will thank yourself later when you have a
better understanding of the training that was delivered
Completing all assessment requirements required to
determine your competency
Cooperating with Trainers, Assessors, RTO Staff and
Students in the conduct of training and assessment
Pay all course fees prior to course commencement
Finding ways to relate to your reading and writing.

During training you will participate in all activities,
don’t jeopardise your own learning by not participating
Surround yourself with other students who can help
you. You don’t have to be best friends with everyone you
seek advice from but find friends or acquaintances that
will help you to be the best of you.
Complaints & Appeals Process
All students have the right to appeal any assessment
decision made by the RTO if they:
Believe that the assessment is invalid and/or
Feel that the process was invalid, inappropriate or
unfair
Before making an appeal, we ask that you discuss the
matter with your Trainer/Assessor in an attempt to reach
a decision.
If you are still not happy, you are then entitled to lodge a
formal Appeal by completing an “Complaints and
Appeals Form” within 7 days of the initial discussion.
Once a formal appeal is lodged a new Assessor will be
appointed in an attempt to resolve the appeal any
decision recommended by this party is not binding to
either party in the dispute.
Refunds & Cancellations
Cooling off period of 3 business days exists, if for any
reason during this cooling off period you decided not
to proceed with the qualification. An administration
fee of $200 does apply. All fees above this amount are
refunded to you within 14 days via bank transfer.
Discretion may be exercised by the Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) if the student can demonstrate that the
extenuating personal circumstance led to their
withdrawal. In these cases, the student should be
offered a full credit toward the tuition fee in another
scheduled program in lieu of a refund. The CEO may
also authorise a part refund of tuition fees if the
circumstances require it.
Where refunds are approved, the refund payment
must be paid to the student within 14 days from the
time the student gave written notice to cancel their
enrolment. Tuition refunds are to be paid via
electronic funds transfer using the authorised bank
account nominated by the student on the Refund
Request Form.
Student Guarantee
If for any reason My Skills is unable to fulfil its
service agreement with a student, My Skills must
issue a full refund for any services not provided. The
basis for determining “services not provided” is to
be based on the units of competency completed by
the student which can be issued in a statement of
attainment at the time the service is terminated.
Accessibilty & Reasonable Adjustment
You must be responsible for notifying My Skills of any
medical condition or disability that equires assistance
with your training.
Recognition of Prior Learning & Credit Transfer
My Skills is committed to the concept of lifelong
learning i.e. the ability of a person to continually
build on their own knowledge through formal and
workplace learning throughout their lifetime.
My Skills is pleased to be able to offer Recognition
of Prior Learning (RPL). Once your existing learning
has been determined, you are on your way to
increasing your knowledge without having to study
what you already know again.
Credit Transfer is the recognition of learning
achieved through formal education and training.
Under the Australian VET Framework, qualifications
and statements of attainment issued by any RTO
must be accepted and recognised by all other
RTOs.
Statement of Attainments and Qualifications are
recognised by My Skills from any RTO.
